Childrens Ministry

Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we at Calvary Chapel do so as well. Our Children's Ministry is designed to help children come to know and love Jesus and grow in their personal relationship with Him. We use age appropriate teaching of the His Word, coupled with the Work of the Holy Spirit to help them grow in their personal relationship with Him.

We believe it is the primary responsibility of us, as parents, to train up our children in the ways of the Lord. The purpose of the children’s ministry is to assist parents in training up their children in the ways of the Lord.

Nursery (Infant – Age 2)
During each regular service we provide well-baby nursery care for infants, toddlers and 2 year-olds. Our care givers are trained in nursery care and ready to assist you & your children

We encourage parents to bring a labeled diaper bag with diapers, milk or juice, extra clothes and any special items (pacifier, blanket, etc.) for the child.

Pre-School Age Children's Church (3 Years Old - Kindergarten)
During each Sunday service we provide classes for pre-school children (ages 3, 4, and 5/kindergarten). Our curriculum is focused on age-appropriate teaching through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It is balanced with crafts, games, and activities based on each weeks lesson.

Elementary Age Children's Church (1st - 6th Grade)
During each Sunday service we provide classes for our elementary age children (1st – 3rd and 4th – 6th grade). Our curriculum is focused on age-appropriate teaching through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It is balanced with Bible memory, crafts, games, and activities based on each weeks lesson.

Youth Ministry (7th – 12th Grade)
During each Sunday service we provide classes for our Junior High and High School age young adults. The goal of Youth Ministry is to make each student a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through a variety of ways including:

  • -Teaching the Bible and applying it to the students' every day lives
  • -Fellowship with one another and time spent together in prayer
  • -A dependency on the Holy Spirit in all things
